Mildred Fumie Hora, 87, of Honolulu, formerly of Hilo, died Oct. 28 in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, she was a retired elementary school teacher. Private services held. Survived by brother, Ronald (Lorraine) Hora of Hilo; sister, Margaret Hora of Honolulu; a nephew and a niece.

Clayton Wailana “Hawk” Iokepa, 71, of Leavenworth, Kan., died Nov. 10 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired electrical foreman from the VA Hospital in Leavenworth and Hercules Army Ammunition Plant in De Soto, Kan., and U.S. Army veteran who loved Hawaii Island and had fond memories of fishing off the breakwater with his father. Visitation 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday (Nov. 21) at R.L. Leintz Funeral Home in Leavenworth. Graveside service 12:30 p.m. at Leavenworth National Cemetery. No flowers. Survived by wife, Heidi Iokepa; daughters, Tatjana Martinez of Arkansas and Brenda (Jack) Iokepa-Moses of Hawaii; son, Keola (Cindy) Iokepa of Leavenworth; 10 grandchildren.

Winona Kawehionapua Kaluna, 72, of Pahala died Oct. 5 at The Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Kapoho, she was a produce manager at Island Market, housekeeping manager at the former Kona Surf Resort and supervisor at the former Planned Parenthood clinic in Kona. Memorial luncheon noon Saturday (Nov. 18) at the family residence in Pahala. Burial service at a later date. Survived by sons, William (Della) Kaluna of Naalehu and Solomon (Jill) Kaluna of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Alexander “Tiny” Kipilii of Pahala and Obed (Christine) Kipilii of Hilo; sister, Natalie Kuluwaimaka of Kailua-Kona.
